Garni temple and Geghard monastery

What you need:
Trekking shoe, waterproof clothing, a hat from the sun, sunglases, tourist backpack, and extra clothes.
Day trip to Garni temple. It is unique survived example of heathen culture in Armenia. It is blend of Greco-Roman and Armenian styles.
Lunch in Garni with participation in the preparation of the traditional Armenian bread ''lavash'' and charming walk along the river at the base of the basaltic colonnades.
Then we will visit the beautiful monastery of Geghard, located in a deep canyon carved into the rock. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage List.
The spectacular towering cliffs surrounding the monastery are part of the Azat rever gorge, and are included together with the monastery in the World Heritage Site listing.
Return to Yerevan.
